In the news: 'everyone is eager for change'

At the moment, we're mostly keeping our heads down and working on the second iteration of our ratings methodology. But when we heard the Positive News team was going to be covering these issues, we were glad to contribute.

Their piece highlights the deficiencies in how certificates are currently used.

We were especially keen to contribute because, in our view, certificates play a crucial role in making the renewable power market liquid, competitive, and transparent. Diverse studies have shown that, when capable of time-matching, certificates can drive low-carbon grid investments to where they're most needed.

As we're quoted as saying: "Everyone is eager for change," and the priority is to "get all the information into the open … and in front of consumers". That's what we're working on now.
